How To Play .avi Files In Nokia E62?

hi,
can anyone tell me how to play .avi movie file in Nokia E61 or E-series.
I had tried to install smartmovie, DivX Player, Media Player but unable to Install them also it says Unable to Install Formart not Supported

    thats a common problem among handphones. some model dunt support AVI files, and no matter what media application player u install, it still wont run. and u cant install external software that the hardware can support. whats the default player for ur handphone? read the manual and see what media files it support. i bet its limited to mpg only. then wat u can do is download an encoder/decoder and change ur media format from AVI to MPG, then transfer to ur handphone. im sure that will work.
